Customer Support Officer (CSO)

As a Customer Service Officer at Taylex, you are the face of the Company, and we are looking for someone to provide exceptional customer service to all inbound enquiries, whether that be via the phone, email inbox or walk-ins.   You will be expected to help manage queries and leads through the Taylex Group’s BDM, Distributor, and customer network. This role will also support the end-to-end processing, planning, logistics and scheduling of projects and orders.

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business or similar (desired, not essential)
  • Minimum 3 years experience or equivalent in a similar role
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional customer support and service
  • Previous experience in a technical-related industry (desired, not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, XO, HubSpot and other systems.
  • Strong Administrator skills
  • A team player
  • Exceptional Phone Manner
  • Passionate about Customers and providing exceptional customer service

Role Expectations

  • Manage enquiries and leads through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
  • Ensure that queries and leads are allocated to the Taylex Group’s distributor network of Wastewater Specialists in a timely manner
  • Manage the satisfaction survey process
  • Work directly with customers to qualify leads to refer to Business Development Manager’s and specialists
  • Work as the point of contact to support with product advice and recommendations
  • Manage existing client orders and enquiries
  • Follow up on direct quotes in relation to sales
  • Support the successful deployment of orders/projects through order processing, schedule planning, logistics support, changes to bookings, project schedules, and client and project information
  • Direct support to BDM’s and Sales/Project Managers
  • Apply strong product knowledge to support customers in relation to Wastewater Treatment Systems and Rainwater Tanks, systems servicing and troubleshooting, installation applications, applicable local council requirements and relevant state legislation.
